Beachcomber Hotels are recognized as the pioneer of the Mauritius Hotels industry, its first hotel having been constructed in 1952. The new five-star hotel will also feature pavilions comprising three spacious rooms and suites equipped with outdoor showers, three-bedroom villas with private with private pools, five restaurants to promote alfresco dining, a sports and fitness centers, a tropical spa with 20 cabins, a Beach Comber head tennis academy, a range of land and water sports including a Bob Marlin mini-club with its own restaurant for kids aged 3 to 12.

According to the Communications Director of that Hotel, with the new features consisting of luxurious and modern finishes, the Trou aux Biches resort and SPA will retain the unique features that have made the Group’s reputation as the most authentic hotel in Mauritius on a prime beachfront location. He said that the highlights would still include its unique chalet-style, tropical gardens and beach front restaurants. The project is creating 500 new jobs, thus integrating people of the area through various training courses. Several of the job vacancies include Food and Beverage, Maintenance, reception and sports center. The objective is to set up a quality team which would respond efficiently to the clients’ needs.
