Dubai top destinations selection

If you didn’t visit Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) yet then you should plan to do it very soon. This is a destination that any traveler should not miss, a “must see” place it’s how i like to call it. Dubai is know for it’s fantastic architecture , with many spectacular building being built every year but also known for the vibrant nightlife and luxury shopping. What can you see in Dubai ?

Jumeirah Mosque is considered by many to be the most beautiful of Dubai’s mosques. An exact copy of Cairo’s Al-Azhar Mosque, which is eight times its size, the Jumeirah Mosque is a fine example of Islamic architecture. This stone structure is built in the medieval Fatimid tradition, with two minarets that display the subtle details in the stonework. It is particularly attractive in the evening when lit with floodlights. The Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Cultural Understanding (which also runs a program of tours, lectures, Arabic classes, and cultural meals) organizes guided tours of the mosque designed to try to foster a better understanding of the Muslim faith. Tours begin at 10am daily, except Fridays.

Do you like waterfalls and water shows ? Did you thought Las Vegas has the best water fountains shows ? Wrong, Dubai fountains are brought to you by the same team behind the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas and the Dubai Fountain show is a true spectacle. Grab a seat in a nearby cafe, and take it all in. Read more info on Dubai Travel Agency.

The Dubai Fountain, located at the base of the iconic Burj Khalifa and just outside the doors of the famous The Dubai Mall, features the world’s largest choreographed fountain system. This popular dancing water show jets water streams as high as 150 metres in the air. Each colourful, illuminated jet sways in time to various musical numbers from around the world, producing what has become the one of the most popular shows in Dubai. Two showings occur in the afternoon (1pm and 1:30pm), except on Fridays (1:30pm to 2pm) and evening displays begin at sundown and take place every 30 minutes until the final song plays at 11pm.

Another huge reason to visit Dubai is the World EXPO 2020. That will be a sight to behold! Expo 2020 will (of course) be in 2020 – although it doesn’t officially start until later in the year. It will run for six months from October 20 to April 10, with pavillions open and entertainment scheduled between 10am and 1am on weekdays, and 10am to 2am on weekends. However, we’re already starting to see impacts on the city, and you can be sure to expect a huge build-up. Tickets will be on sale in April 2020, starting from Dhs120.
